Taking the Course
The course has 8 units and each unit has a quiz. The course concludes with a final exam. Quizzes and the final exam must be passed with at least 80%. Students have unlimited free re-takes of quizzes and the final exam.
The Basic Driver Improvement traffic school course takes a minimum of 4 hours to successfully complete. Expect to spend at least this amount of time completing the course.
You can access the course anytime, 24/7, and log in or out as needed. Unlike traditional classroom courses, this online traffic school offers a flexible format. The system saves your progress, allowing you to resume where you left off. You can customize your learning schedule, with the only requirement being to complete the course within three months of registration.
We believe the course is easy to use. Basically, you will click to start the first unit; log off at any time and when you log back in you can resume where you left off. Every unit has an easy ten question quiz that you can take as many times as you need to complete.
You can start the course at any time and is available to you immediately after you have registered for the course.
Yes, you can take our courses on your computer, tablet, or phone.
Certificates
Once you have successfully completed the course your Certificate of Completion will be available immediately for you to download.
Once you’ve successfully finished the course, it’s necessary to submit your Certificate of Completion certificate to the Clerk of the Court in the county in which you received your traffic ticket. IMPORTANT: It is the student’s responsibility to confirm with the Clerk of the Court in the county where they received their ticket that their Certificate of Completion has been both received and processed.
Receiving a Ticket / Ordered to Take Traffic School
Traffic school is available for those who get a traffic ticket for a non-criminal moving violation. This does not apply to commercial driver license holders. Some tickets and/or incidents/accidents will require traffic school; refer to the table below.

You can take traffic school once every twelve months and no more than five times in a lifetime. To determine your eligibility, you can find out at the FLHSMV website.
You will need to contact the Clerk of the Court in the county in which you received your ticket. You can find their information in the Court Locations page.
When you go to traffic school, the ticket will remain on your Florida driving record BUT the points will be reduced upon completion of traffic school. The points reduction may also cut down on any insurance increase you may be facing from your car insurance company.
Yes, you can take this course. Once you have successfully completed the course we will report your completion to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and you must submit a copy of your Certificate of Completion to the Clerk of the Court in the county in which you received your ticket.
Yes, taking a traffic school (BDI course) can qualify you for an insurance discount, contact your insurer for more information.
No. This traffic school course is not for holder of a commercial driver’s license.
